With a passion for wonderful fabrics and design, a fashion-minded Chris Favorite opened her first store in 1993 and filled the space with her own original creations of batik clothing for women and children, in addition to organic cottons, hemp, and natural and recycled fibers. When the store became too busy for Chris to continue producing her own line she filled the store with other designers creations, although the desire and likelihood for Chris to create pieces for Favorite Clothing in the future still lives. Always supportive of local artists and cottage industries Favorite Clothing carries unique jewelry, hand crafted frames, beautiful belts, bags, and hand-made shoes. Inspired by her fashion forward daughters and nieces, Chris keeps up-to-date with the latest trends but is not driven by them. Favorite Clothing carries a wonderful mix of timeless, casually sophisticated clothes, shoes, and accessories. Chris and the staff enjoy helping customers find just the right pieces and, sometimes, Chris finds herself shopping various designers for certain customers. It’s all a part of Chris’ passion for fabric, design, and service.
