Keep Sedona Beautiful promotes conservation of the greater Sedona area, and, by all practical means, seeks to preserve the unique natural environment and to enhance the quality of life for future generations. Keep Sedona Beautiful, Sedona’s premier conservation organization since 1972, maintains Sedona’s dark skies, champions open space land acquisitions and protection, monitors U.S. Forest Service land exchanges and management plans, promotes a Sedona National Scenic Area, supports native plant landscaping, holds the Preserving the Wonder speaker program, maintains a corps of volunteer Litter Lifters, and sponsors the annual Capture the Wonder photo contest.
